Speeding

Dear Resident

Following on from our drop in session at Read Village Hall last week speeding was raised as a concern on Whalley Road, George Lane, Whins Lane and Simonstone Lane.

Our speed enforcement taskings come from the Road Safety Partnership and are given to us on Neighbourhood, traffic and the camera vans. Neighbourhood current tasking is Simonstone Lane and we have issued tickets on this road to vehicles travelling over the 30mph recently.
